I’m not shy, I just find human interaction exhausting most of the time. I have many things to say, but can never get a word in most of the time. I don’t have a lot of friends, because the few I have I absolutely trust and have deep connections with, they’re people who understand me – quality over quantity.

I’m told by some to get a life when I have a life. It’s just a quiet and minimalist one, and I’m happy with that. How many people can say they’re happy with their lives?

    I’m an Introvert.

Yes there is. Ambivert. You definitely can fall in the middle. No one is either a true intro or extrovert.

i am 98% introvert, and the other 2% is the fact that when it comes to school or work, i am a multitasker, and, i enjoy taking personal risks (that don’t involve other people), like going bungee jumping spontaneously, but never with other human beings, nope, i like being alone most of the time, and i hate parties.

    Great video.
I think extroverts have a deficiency in social skills. They, too often, are inept at formulating a relevant basis for which to communicate information.
For Example.. an extrovert on the bus just rambled to me for an hour about his dog.
While an introvert created this video by analyzing what is valuable information to the world and providing it on a relevant medium (youtube), an extrovert just wasted an hour of his time (and mine) running his mouth like verbal diarrhea. (rip carlin)

I strolled down to the comments and discovered a similar trend that seems to be confusing so many people. Remember this:

Introverts don’t want to be alone; they want to be LEFT alone.

We wouldn’t be human if we weren’t attracted to other people, now would we? ;)

That’s exactly how I am. I can’t seem to find a career that’s a good fit for me. Unfortunately I am 45. Still searching.

Introverts are usually very comfortable in group situations, and can even be large scale leaders and very well spoken. They just prefer to be alone, in order to be able to be introspective without being interrupted/distracted by people. By your statement you just seem a little uncomfortable in group situations, which is much more common than being an introvert. Not trying to say that’s what your problem really is, just giving an opinion! Don’t want you to self diagnose & confuse yourself.

I am very much the same, except I have no friends at all. I’m pretty sure you and me are both introverts.

I like to relax by being alone or with couple of good friends. Being in a huge crowd does frustrate me because I am a silent person. Direct, hyperactive much and loud talking people make me nervous. But here is the thing: If I am too much alone I feel bad and want to go to meet people and have some fun.

    No.

How do you relax, by being alone (or with a small group) or by being in a large group of people? What frustrates you more: being in a huge crowd or being completely alone?
