The question is referring to the Industrial Revolution that took place in Europe in the nineteenth century.
Imperialism is strengthening one nation by it’s territorial acquisition, right? Domination over other territories….But didn’t the industrial rev. mean a more modern age? About equality or freedom and such…so how could the industrial revolution lead to the coming up of imperialism? shouldn’t it be the downfall? I’m confused, and yet I’ve read stuff that say the industrial rev. was a major factor in the rise of imperialism….please help!!!
