How to Make an Origami Flapping Bird

In this tutorial, I will teach you how to make an Origami Flapping Bird (really flaps!) using a regular sheet of printer paper. If you have any origami or square paper, that would be ideal to use. Making the Origami Flapping Bird is very similar to making the Origami Crane, yet with fewer folds. We must know how to make the Origami Bird Base, from which we can then make the flapping bird. I teach how to make the Bird Base step by step in this tutorial, but if you already know how to make it, you may fast forward to around 5:30. If you already know how to make the Bird Base, you may fast forward to around 5:30 to learn how to convert the bird base into a flapping bird. To make the bird flap, you hold the neck and pull on the tail. As always, please comment, rate and subscribe for notification of my future videos. Post any questions in the comment section and also let me know what else you would like to learn. Thanks for watching! -Rob

How to make an Origami Crane-Lily Box Lily Module

NOT SO EASY. This Origami Crane-Lily Box (Lily Module of the box) it is not complex either, but I can imagine it will be quite difficult if you don’t know how to fold the classic origami crane and lily. Design by Tomoko Fuse, she calls the flower a “bouvardia” and as you look closely at the flower you can see that it is indeed not a classic lily. The classic lily box is much harder to fold in small sizes, but also very nice (shown at the end of this vid) ; ) Music by pacdv.com

Turning an origami crane into a hydralisk

This is my first youtube video so don’t be surprised about the quality. If any of you out there are starcraft fans then you may have seen the starcraft origami on Flikr or Digg. I’m not that guy, but I did design a hydralisk model. This model isn’t the best out there but it’s decent and can be made by converting the classic crane. I don’t know how to make instructions but you could probably figure it out from the video. Comment if you want me to make another video making the hydralisk from scratch (a square piece of paper of any size and almost any quality, I made this one out of scrap paper) and explaining it. BTW, I gave an example of this to those Penny-Arcade guys during Comic-Con. I also gave one to the Blizzard booth. They all said that I should make instructions but I think this way is better.
