Presidential power has increased dramatically since the early 1930s. What factors have contributed to that?

Presidential power has increased dramatically since the early 1930s. What factors have contributed to that growth of power? On balance, is the growth of presidential power a healthy or a detrimental development? Why?

The generations here since WW II are spoiled and sheltered ivory tower elite little children in adult bodies. They want mommies and daddies to direct and take care of them. They never grew up. So that’s why politicians, already anxious for more power, are invited to rule our lives in exchange for us allowing them to empty our pockets, … and our financial accounts, … and tax away our assets … etc.

In particular, people focus on a single father/mother figure like pseudo-fascists. People seem unable to fathom 400 leaders congress who make the laws. They represent us, the president doesn’t, but the little children in adult bodies let them run wild undirected.

We are selling out our freedom and our assets for a hollow promise of security. They can never protect us. That’s our job. In fact they demand we come and protect them when the enemies they made attack them.

What a scam. It’s a shame I’m on the sucker end, not the suckee. Perhaps I should run for office.

many factors have contributed, but i think your teacher wants YOUR answers, not those of people in here. But i’ll give you a hint: google “presidential powers” and you’ll have a wide source of information available to you.

Democrats have controlled the House of Representatives and have given the Powers to the Executive Branch.

Democrats have been working very hard behind the scenes since 1921 to set up a Unified North America…Mexico > USA < Canada commonly referred to as the NAU- North American Union.

The Democrats have been working toward this goal with the aid of those "Pretenders who are the Progressives" (Some Conservative Democrats and those so-called Moderate Republicans) in Congress.

Since 1950 there have only been 3 (three) Republican Representatives that held the position of Speaker of the House!

verify the truth, do the research…The Progressives and the Liberals have never had this much Power in all those years to do such sweeping change of “Our” America.
