In the legend of sleepy hollow how is Ichabod Crane developed by the author?
I read the Legend of Sleepy Hollow however i am confused on how he developed the character Ichabod Crane…Can someone please help me clarify this…Please

Irving starts by developing the physical description of Ichabod – going into quite a lot of detail so you can really picture the character. Then he moves to the inside of the schoolmaster – what he values most, what makes him tick, how he treats his students, etc. You learn to really “see” the character, both inside and outside.
